Manta, Main Buffet Restaurant: "Trip around the world" will be the theme of this sand-floored restaurant. It offers a live cuisine experience with simple yet tasty dishes. Interaction between chefs and guests will be one of the top priorities at the buffet, with themes changing daily. A beautiful wine cellar boasts a wide selection of the sommelier’s suggestions. The over-water extension of the restaurant, allows guests to enjoy a perfect view on the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean.
Alizee, A la carte beach grill: The menu offers a selection of all time favorites such as pizza, hamburgers, sandwiches and fries, as well as large salads that can be accompanied by grilled fish & meat according to the selection of the day cooked to order on the “show” charcoal grill. Lunch can be served around the pool, and at the beach bar. In the evening, the beach grill serves a vast selection of seafood dishes, amongst other specialties.
Manta Bar: Located next to the main restaurant, the main bar has a lively, tropical and friendly atmosphere with sand floor open areas. A wide selection of drinks is served at the bar, including signature tropical cocktails and mock tails. In the afternoon waffles will be served. After dinner, the bar is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while listening or dancing to our DJ’s selection of tunes.
Totem Bar: Whenever the heat of the Maldivian sun gets overwhelming, the beach bar is the right place to enjoy a fresh fruit smoothie, or choose from a menu of freshly brewed iced teas… Snack menu is served for lunch and in the afternoon.
Blue Lagoon: Hot & Cool lounges, two very distinctive ambiances…
“Hot” lounge: inside the entertainment lounge reflects the cozy yet informal atmosphere of a tropical pub from the colonial times with pool table and games, as well as a TV.
“Cool” lounge: The external seating area privileges relaxation and enjoyment of the nature around. Comfortably nestled in their seat, guests can enjoy a cup of Champagne or a cocktail, while looking at the stars, sampling some of our exclusive sweet snacks, or simply reading a book. Arabic chichas are available in this smokers-friendly area with a selection of flavored tobaccos.
Snorkeling Equipment: Masks, snorkels and fins are available from the Water Sports Centre on a complimentary basis. Guests are simply required to complete a form and sign surety for costs of any incidental damage or loss. Should any guest wish to keep their equipment, the Blue Tribe Dive Centre has a variety of goods for sale.
Scuba Diving: The Blue Tribe diving company has been based on Moofushi for many years and is an expert in everything to do with snorkeling around the island, as well as scuba diving.
The Maldives is renowned for being among the best scuba diving locations in the world, with the Ari Atoll boasting one of the most diverse and astonishing dive sites.
The Ari Atoll’s southern area (where Moofushi is situated) is famous both for its great dives and an amazing variety of sea life including Giant Mantas, Whale Sharks, turtles and fantastically diverse coral reefs. There are dives suitable for both open water and advanced divers.
There are 32 major dive sites in close proximity to Moofushi ensuring a very wide range of diving experiences, and a marine biodiversity second to none. Some of these world renowned dive sites are Maaya Thila (famous for its grey reef sharks), Rasdhoo Madivaru Kandu (which has the most spectacular reef formations) and Fish Head (arguably the most famous in the Maldives, with caves and a huge variety of marine life - suitable for all kind of divers, from beginner to expert).
A strict policy for divers is that no sea life is to be touched. This is to prevent personal injury as well as negative environmental impact.
