The lagoon on the west side of the Island is ideal for water skiing,
wakeboarding, fun tubing and banana rides as well as kayaking, windsurf,
catamaran and kite lessons.
A little channel leads to house reef where on the North-West side beyond the barrier Jet Skiing can be practiced.
The water sport centre is located next to arrival jetty on the beach.
It consists of a main building with an office and a shower.
Opening times are from 9:00 until 18:30 hours.
The use of non motorized water sports is free of charge; however you
will need to show us your catamaran sailing license in order to sail
with the catamaran on your own.
The lagoon in front of the water sport is the ideal place to start
with your first wind surfing or catamaran sailing lessons; we offer
single lessons, a short course, fun course and the complete VDWS basic
license course.

kite surfing and sailing), training and certification and has been
operating since 1974 in water sport locations worldwide. To date, VDWS
has over 525 affiliated centers and over 3.000 trained instructors

organization of its kind in the industry. VDWS works to set safety
standards for both, schools and individual instructors and ensures that
all schools and instructors seeking to bear the VDWS label meet only the
highest safety and quality standards before joining the VDWS network.
Over the years, VDWS has developed numerous educational tools for both,
schools and instructors, including schools and instructor manuals and
workbooks, videos, training courses and most importantly, the VDWS
